Knights’ Tournament
Knights’ Tournament
Presentation of the number one knightly tournament in the country
The knightly tournament is a must-see team building program in Visegrád. The Knights of the Military Tradition Section of the Order of St. George do not hold a museum presentation. Here, they don’t just carry guns and then march in age-old costumes in front of spectators, spiced up with a few parades of sword swings. The knights crash into each other with harsh blows, and the arena of Solomon Tower only rings when metal meets metal. Warriors expose themselves to it, be it a battle star, a sword, a crossbow, or any other weapon.
The team-building program also includes rehearsing the wings of the guests. At the end of the knight tournament demonstration, the team-building participants will have the opportunity to try out their weapons, all of course with the knightly help of the Knights of St. George.
It is held in the Solomon Tower from spring to late fall, while in winter the indoor and heated Palace House provides space for our team building program. There is also no need to worry about those who are less feverish by the militant demonstration, as the environment itself is beautiful. On the winding small road leading to the Solomon’s Tower, you can see more and more of the Danube Bend, and when you arrive in the arena, the team-building participants can admire a fabulous panorama.
